For my 1972 Rosso Amaranto GTV, PPG 51310 matches perfectly to the never-repainted door jambs. When I last had it mixed about 15 years ago it showed up in the PPG books as a Maserati color from around the same vintage.
I could not find 51310 anywhere in the link Osso posted, but that list seems to go back only to 1983.

The list in my link is for 1969 model year Alfas. The PPG code is 50772.

 

Right...I should've been more specific. Within your link I ended up looking through the Maserati listings, and within those, couldn't get back farther than 1983.

 

They don't have all of the paint codes for Alfas, but they do have a pretty good list.

 

Shows the same PPG color for my 1974 "Plum" GTV.
