This is another detail that is often overlooked. The chrome plated flat head screws are always rusty and look terrible (first picture). There is no need to go through the expense of having them repaired and replatted. I found some stainless socket flat head screws at Ace Hardware that worked as a good substitute. These are 8X1.25X20.
