The first eight of these posts were made by several people regarding this subject. However they were located in Engine Conversions under the title of "Twin Spark head on 2L Nord Block".
Sorry i was wrong, i just opened up a M2.10.3(or 4?) from an 145 2.0 QV,Its Bosch 0 261 204 558 and looks like it has a different CPU,
looks like the 80196 or something like that found in the M2.10.3, M2.10.4
That's pretty typical. From cruise at part throttle to full throttle almost all engines pull out timing. A lot of cars pull out 20 degrees, some pull out 40!Anyone who is still working on this, I find the following a bit odd in the data.
The 160s bin, compared with the 191 bin, looks as follows in the ignition graph.
160s looks good to me (but this is the modified version from Festy) However, when you compare 160 to 191 the stock ignition timing for WOT, is significantly retarding timing a LOT, so why is this the case in the 'stock' map? I would expect maybe 4 or 5 degree's of advance removed in the stock map, not 20 degree's or more!?
You find him on this board from down underFesty is still around,
