I had sent you an email previously but did not hear a response, I am interested. As my battery is in the engine compartment, I guess I would be interested in the three hole just in case I want to move it some day.

Paul, Sorry I thought I had replied but obviously not. I started making the three hole version but I didn't like the hole spacing so we went back to revise the tool. We should have the three hole running next week.

If anyone else is wonder where your grommets are, please post, email or PM me.

Glad they are working out for y'all!

BTW, we now have stock on the two hole so if you need a set, email me at bradco@jlschroth.com and I can send them out right away.

Okay, thanks. This might be why I've never seen one as my car is RHD and carbed and I don't think has these, which I always thought was an omission on Alfas part as the way the brake and fuel lines are bunded and held to the floor of the car is amature at best ... more like crude.

Hi Rich,

Installed my set over the weekend. They look great and I am sure will last just as long.

Here's a few pics for the group, as I am sure the vast majority of cars out there are in the condition mine were.

They are either crumbling

Or totally missing! :scared:

Thanks again for going through all the trouble and offering to the BB.

Rich, I just ran across this thread. I don't know if you have any of these sets left, but if so, I'd like one also.

PM sent.

I should have single hole grommets done tomorrow. The three hole grommets ran into a snag- the holes ended up being too close to the edge. So I'm going to remake the tool and move the holes closer. Hopefully by the end of the week.

Finally we have the single hole grommets. These are for cars that originally had SPICA pumps that switched over to carbs and only have a single fuel line. Hoping to have the (3) hole version done next week.

The price is $67 for a set of (7) including domestic shipping.

Single Hole Grommet on left (in case there are any MGB fans reading this :devil2:)

Do you still have the 2 hole grommets, for 91 Spider?

Bob

Yup, got a set sitting on my desk.

We are only making the two hole version anymore.

The info:

The cost is $67 for a set of (7) grommets including shipping within the continental United States.

NEW PAYMENT PLAN:

I would very much appreciate it if those interested in purchasing a set of grommets direct their payment to one of the two programs listed below as a donation:

As what PSK mentioned, these do not apply to RHD cars as the fuel line runs together with the brake lines but I think a 3-hole grommet will do it nicely.
1 for the fuel line and the other 2 for the brake lines. Attached are the photos of my 10545 1750 RHD Mk 1 before restoration.

It's the new year and I just want to make sure that everyone that needed these grommets got theirs (especially if they've already paid!).

If anybody received their grommets and are not satisfied with the quality, email me and we will replace them. The first run were a bit iffy material wise but we've since corrected that.
