Yesterday I participated in "Un Giro Lungo al Lago e Pranzo" hosted by the ARCT (Alfa Romeo Club of Toronto). Club president Frank Scalisi put together this drive summary "I'm delighted to extend this invitation to our Un Giro Lungo il Lago e Pranzo (a tour along the lake and lunch) hosted by the Alfa Romeo Club Toronto Chapter. It’s a scenic country drive to the Georgina area, making our way towards beautiful Lake Simcoe. The last part of our drive will be along the picturesque Lake Drive, as we enjoy our giro lungo il lago and finishing up at The Beach Lakefront Bar & Grill in Keswick."

We had a great turnout of about 19 cars (some of which started out at Brad Fischer's place in Port Perry) but ultimately converging at the BLB&G. Here are some shots I took of the group...

I should add that I managed to resolve my sudden driveshaft vibration issue from the previous week....and once again...it took about 3,000 km of driving for this nut to come loose...thereby allowing the flange to not sit concentrically on the forward driveshaft assy. Thankfully no damage done and once retorqued to 100 ft-lbs (and loctited ...this time)and palnut installed to boot. I can report that the car drove beautifully up to 145kph without any vibration at all...what a difference! Highway cruising never felt better than on this last drive.
