The car in post #620 is a bit of a mistery as asking for information on the chassis number was met with very little enthousiasm. As was mentioned. Interesting.

The chassis number seems to have been blurred in the engine bay pictures. It's there but not readable where as other details around the chassis number are sharp.
Interesting.

The car has Jolly Club, Balduzzi and Escuderia Nacional livery elements. I personally haven't seen that combination before. Is there anybody who has an in-period picture of a GTAm with this livery?

I could trace this car back to Auto Neuser. Here is a picture from the slightly different livery back in the Auto Neuser add.

Colours on a valve cover had a meaning.
Golden for Balduzzi, fluorescent green for Facetti, red for Angelini, etc. The blue might be the a link to the Autodelta colour of blue.
Interesting detail.

#1531231 bought with faded red valve cover, then painted silver and then painted red again.

Also this GTAm (#1531231 ) was in very bad condition, i don't know if the current owner restored it, i saw this car a year ago but i couldn't saw the underneath it unfortunately.

This car is again for sale for a lot of money but i don't think that it is original!
Here it is in 2016. No chassis number mentioned. According to the text, this car was restored in 2010 in Switzerland. Chassis number seems to have been blurred in the pictures. In my experience, usually that isn't a good sign.
Genuine 1750 GTAm's are mentioned in post #500 of this thread. See the 2nd link.

Whoever wrote that article appears not to know what they were talking about

Well, Ol' Fritz's cars are heavily renowned for having very "clean" VIN's since decades🤔.

Even he's officially not in charge any more, it's again the same car.

# 1531068 GTAm.

Alfa Romeo 24-02-1970 Car was bought at the end of 1970/beginning of 1971 and needed a complete rebuild when it arrived in Australia (source: Vince Sharp), history mentioned by A,D&Ăś.
The car was entered in the Australian competition and had a Tipo 33 V8 (Tasman) engine for a while.
It has been restored in the 1750 GTAm Chesterfield livery and shown in 2013. It is still located in Australia (2024) with one of our members.

Quote: "Foley first viewed this car, dirty and with remnants of race decals, in the Museo storage basement in January '71 before it was removed and shipped to Australia. Foley had ordered a new GTAm, but this car was the only one available.
A confirmation by somebody from the period that remembers something about removal from the storage and shipping downunder, would be nice." Unquote.

Post #636 shows an example of a 1750 GTAm with the standing pedals and 1 servo/brake booster.

#1531231 was built using a 2nd series 1750 GTV US type 105.51.

See the link below for more information concerning the pedal and servo set up of the known 1750 GTAm's.

Ciao, Olaf 👌🍀

Ciao Olaf thanks for the info, i want to say that the car has 1750 GTV Veloce europe first series tail lights but has been restored so maybe the owner of this car in 80s changed it and install these tail lights , i don't know the full history of the car but it was so difficult to see it that i almost gave it up, anyway it is a very beautiful 1750 GTAm with modern bucket seats which i hate but you can't race with the seats that this car bought it...

Tipo 105.44 telaio AR.1382607, was presented inside Auto Italia magazine November 1999, to my knowledge so far, this is a well preserved piece of history, which by the way is used and driven accordingly.
I include the most recent pictures I found in the internet, also pictures from Auto Italia magazine.
Takis.
