Troubleshooting tips: ROUGH DRAFT
1991-93 12v V6
Check engine services fuse in main fuse box.
Check fuel pressure with fuel injection pressure gauge (rent free from Autozone).
Be sure "red stripe" ECU relay with diode plugged into correct relay holder with RED wires near coil.
Fuel pump relay is one next to it plugged into holder with pink and pink-white wires.
You can test fuel pump by pulling fuel pump relay and test for power with key on at socket 30. Now jumper socket 30 pink wire to socket 87a pink-white wire and turn key on pump should run.

Check distributor cap and rotor
Check spark with spark tester and or inductive or direct hook up timing light (tester and timing light will flash if spark going through sparkplug wire.

Steve thanks for all your valueable advice. I also thank you for your reply to my post on the 164 that I have been trying to help my friend with. We are trying to find a wiring diagram for the motronic system. The car cranks over very well but the voltage drops to 10v . No pulse to coil . Pick up signal tested from one end to the other. well Im tired now and I have to repair my car so I can travel this week. pls help thanks Mike
