this is a publicly available video from the Schorndorfer Bergpreis (hillclimb near Stuttgart, Germany). This must have been the 3rd edition in 1962. You can see the Gorza car 04069 when owned by Herbert Wrobel registration M-ST 172 (came 1st in 1300 GT class) and the ex Schulze car 04657 when owned by Wolfgang Steidle registration EHI-H 1 (came 2nd)....

My car, 02348 participated in the 1st edition in 1960. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a video available at. the source for that one...

Hello to you all.
When Tim activated this tread. Once more I scroll trough this wonderful tread, again and again, I took a copy of John de Boer’s list on Ada Pace.
I have used that list, to organize my pictures on Ada Pace. I have set the pictures into the list.
She was a active lady, with a huge number of starts. Not only in the Giulietta Sprint, but in many different cars.
There is some infos that I have difficult to find. She had 4 notable accidents in her time.
19580224-28 Rallye de Sestrière # 48 SVA #01849 (TO 205398) Ada Pace/Piera Chiesa. It was rebuilder to SVZ
19590913 Coppa Inter-Europa – Monza (I), No. 33 SVZ #01849 Ada Pace (I), Racing Club 19, DNF
(GT1.3, collision with No. 31

The accident in 1961: In the Monza 12 Hour race in 1961 she had one of the more spectacular incidents in the career. While taking the Curva Grande at around 200kph, the suspension of the Alfa broke. The car rolled and she was trapped inside the upturned car. With fuel leaking out she calmly broke the rear widow and crawled out just before the car disappeared in flames.
Was that accident in her SZ chassis 0009. It must have been a heavy accident, where one can expect that the SZ vas a total wreck. But according to John de Boer the car was sold at
19.9.62 AR SZ *00009 sold by this date in Torino.

Her final start occurred in February of 1965, when she crashed hard into a lorry coming from the opposite direction, during a special stage of the Rallye dei Fiori-Sanremo, nearly Borghetto Santo Spirito.

If anybody have knowledge of what happened in connection with these accident . I WILL BE VERRY PLEASED FOR ADDITIONE INFORMATION.

Her activity in Lancia isn’t mentioned in the de Boer list. I have been searching for infos and picture from her start on Zolder. Without any luck.

Her start at Brand hatch, i registrted Racing Sports cars.

I think the one in the ditch you mentioned is Edigo Gorza's E04069 which was a double bubble

These are 2 I have in my file, it's resurfaced, but comprehensively rebuilt and a different shape, probably post the big accident

Thank you AlfaSA , for prompt response.
#48 The first 2is from Rallye del Sestriere where se had an accident that led to the conversionto SVZ
#66 the third one is from Sassi - Traforo del Pino (Pino-Sassi) 28.10.56
#118 the forth is from Trieste - Opicina 5.10.58
#33 the fifth is from Coppa Inter-Europa 13.9.59 where she probably had an accident
The seventh is 04488 Schild, the red one with the damage in the front. I think the one in the ditch is the same car.

Thanks TISUP, yes 02488

Additionally, I hope for help on these pictures, where- when- who
The one in the ditch, I think is *02488
The other picture with Ernst Furtmayer, left Manfred Hönig probably.
The car in front must be a SZ-T but the one in the back is that also a SZ-t

First picture : SVZ Egidio Gorza during Coppa del Cimino 1957
Second picture : Wien Aspern 1962 with SZT n° 58 = Karl Foitek and SZT n° 62 = Ernst Furtmayr

I don't think Gorza ever did have a stripe painted on his hood, in the crashed picture I posted, I think it's the reflection from a lamp pole or something, there's branches or similar top right & it's just off-center of the relatively undamaged bonnet and I don't think Zagato got the left & right out by much more than an inch at the best of times ;)
