Trying to start my car is usually a hard task after a week of sitting idle and on my most recent effort, I was probably turning the engine over for too long, the result was that when I turned the ignition off, the starter motor continued to turn over and I had trouble stopping it. I had to turn the ignition and starter on again and then off again and this stopped it.
What is this a sympton of (apart from poor starting technique)?
