Okay people, admit it - you all got your alfa something for Christmas (Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Secretaries' Day, whatever). Share what ya got with the rest of us. I'll start...

Thanks to that cool 25% off thing from Auto Sport/IAP, I picked up some Clay Magic and their hand waxing kit which I can't wait to use.

Oh, and I also got high compression pistons, new smog pump bearings, a starter motor, new radiator and hoses, fan shroud, new gasket, some JB Weld from where an incompetent mechanic used a SCREWDRIVER to pull my head, some SPICA work, and some other sundry stuff, but that wasn't technically a Christmas present for her. More like emergency room hospitalization.

Carello headlamp covers, Euro side marker lamps and a quarter panel patch piece. Now, if I could just find more time to spend on the Alfa, too....

What to get. Hmmm....let's see. Well, I 'pert near have doubles of everything on the shelf so there's very little I can think of left to get.

Wait! I know! A CAR! Yes. THAT's it! I could get one of the GTVs back.
Either one. I DON'T CARE WHICH!!
I'm tired of waiting and have no more patience!!
AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!

Ok. I feel better now.

All I've gotten is a 1/72 scale Alfa 147 GTA (also got one for each of the kids' stockings). It was $1.99 at the toy store. What my Alfa really needs is for me to spend some time in the garage, so maybe I'll give her that and get those headlight relays installed.

Well...... silver Spider gets to spend the winter inside the garage next to red Spider, courtesy of wife Dee who volunteered to keep her Jetta outside (****, I married well...).

Silver Spider has a new master cylinder and power antenna waiting for installation. The new Bridgestones came early, and the clutch pivot pin is already installed. The new top has to wait until next year. I wonder if those old yellow Konis from the red car will work on the silver car... maybe on full soft setting?.

Red Spider will get an oil cooler, re-shimmed limited slip, and a fresh set of Hoosiers. Maybe get the cams back to 102 degree lobe centers, and play with front suspension alignment.

And thanks to all of the parts suppliers that make it easier to maintain our babies.

My GTV is getting a new George Willet cylinder head (ported/polished etc), new cams, intake manifold, headers and 45 DCOEs. It's a secret though, Alfie won't find out about it until he wakes up from his winter's nap in the spring!
