I've discovered a leak which I think is coming from my air conditioner. It's leaking on the carpet on the passenger side of my '93 spider veloce, which I bought about 3 weeks ago. The carpet is pretty well saturated, so it apparently has been leaking for awhile. I haven't pulled up the carpet yet, but I suspect that when I do I'll find substantial rust. Anyway, has anyone had any experience with their air conditioner leaking on the carpet? Thanks for any help!

Presumably your floor is wet from condensate off the evaporator. There should be a condensate drain hose under the dash that directs the condensate out of the car. Odds are the hose is either clogged, disconnected, or not there.
Unless of course your windshield is leaking -or- your cowl drain tubes are clogged.
