Pretty much any transmission from a 105 or 115 Alfa will fit your '69. Does the '69 have the "push down" -style reverse lock-out? Later boxes had a simpler system, which I feel is better (doesn't rattle like the "push down"). Later boxes also relocated the switch for the back-up light, which may necessitate making simple extensions to the wiring. But again, that change represents an improvement; the BU light switches on the earlier transmissions are inside the bellhousing and as such difficult to access.

My point is that you don't need to locate a 1969 Sprint transmission. One from a '76 spider (say) will fit as well.

I would probably rebuild your transmission because most transmissions are usually worn out or have broken parts. I have rebuilt many transmissions and all of them had worn synchronizers, bad bearing, missing parts and you have to replace the seals because they are very hard and will leak oil.

I am rebuilding a 2600 transmission and have several used 105 transmissions. I do not know if any of these transmissions can be used but, I know that the front and rear seals have to be replaced or you will have leaks. I recently rebuilt a tunnel case transmission and there were missing parts and the long spacer had to have 0.035 inch taken off. I have rebuilt many transmissions and would say that it is better to repair your transmission. The transmission parts are not cheap.
