"Team Milano" Parts?

While organizing our reference literature at Centerline I came across an Alfa Accessories Catalog (USA) dated 1986. In it there were several parts labeled "Team Milano" that caugh my interest: a "Handling Kit" consisting of stiffer torsion bars, springs, and shocks, a "Sway Bar Kit" with stiffer front and rear sway bars, and "Team Milano Wheels" which were 15 x 7 O.Z. 3-piece wheels. I have never heard reference to Team Milano anyhwere else, so I am curious.

By the 1987 and 1988 versions of this same catalog the handling parts were gone, but the wheels were still there now simply called "OZ Wheel".

So, if anyone remembers, I have a few questions:

1) Were there other "Team Milano" parts planned - i.e. this was a performance options program that (obviously) never got off the ground, or was it just colorful marketing language?

2) Were these suspension parts actually available over the counter at dealerships? Or (and this is what I suspect of the whole thing) were these simply put in the accessories catalog to legalize them for the Milanos running in the SCCA Showroom Stock (Firehawk) series?

Anyone remember anything about these parts?

Those torsion bars look to be nearly stock! Louis has a sway bar that looks like an OEM bar, but it's larger. Basically, its thicker than stock, but doesn't use the weld on "blades" that the RS and Shankle bars utilize. I wonder if that bar has something to do with this?

Just addition to Oz Monza wheels topic; they were also produced in 16'x7' et:28. Center hart is same like in 15' but outer lips and inner barrels were increased to 16'.

Lips and barrels are compatible between almost all 15'-16' modular OZ's, right now I'm starting to work on one set of Monza which will be 16x8' for front and 16x9' for rear..

Hi,

I know that the thread is 2 years old, but I´m currently searching documents for the above mentioned OZ wheels, stating diameter, width and load capacity.

I received a scan of an old oz catalogue from a BB Member.
I have following wheels:
Front: 7Jx15 ET29(see img0033 CODE 04.70.5.AR2)
REAR: 8Jx15 ET29 (see img0033 CODE 04.80.5 AR2)

Hope that someone can help me to get more informations and documents for that wheels. Also a copy of other car documents where the wheels is mentioned, would be a great help.

Regards,
Peter
