Shame your in US, i have a good pump here that iam not using anymore.... i doubt a rebuild kit is still available from Alfa (like everything else), its going to be aftermarket

If you can't find a kit, this list was gleaned from a Japanese site:

Oil seal (inside diameter X major diameter X width in mm) 16X28X7 material NBR

10.5x2 NBR 6 required

28x2 NBR 1 required

With the shaft seal and o-rings in hand it's a pretty easy job. Be sure to use nitrile or viton ruber.

Those dimensions for the o-rings are more accurate than the guesstimated ones in my old post, so I'll go back and update them. It's not clear to me what the 17mm ones are for, though - all I needed were the 10.5s, the 28, the 36, and the shaft seal.

 

I sent my pump (87 Milano) to The Rebuilding Factory, Camarillo, CA (805) 484-6888. It wasn't cheap but they did a great job. No leaks in four years.

 

Looking at some random digest stuff it appears there is a rebuild kit available through Audi but no one knows the part number!

 

No need to get the kit. You know the seal sizes, just order the appropriate parts.

Nitrile O-rings can be found at the link below or plenty of other places - they're dirt cheap. Alfa Parts carries the shaft seal, or if you want it cheaper just buy a standard oil seal based on the dimensions Craig gave.

Actually, I have the Harbor Freight gasket kit that is featured in the other thread. Between that and a tube of gasket sealant, I should have a flawlessly performing pump.

 

Three sizes o-rings, a total of eight are required. I have enough to make a couple of kits; $10 each plus postage.
