Alfa Romeo GTA Sunglasses 5916009

So pleased to find this forum, I've posted on another this evening also however not sure that was the correct place to post regarding collectables.

I was given a pair of 5916009 Alfa Romeo GTA glasses many, many years ago and kept them boxed up. Upon rediscovering them I'm curious to learn more about them. I can't find anything online and am stumped so far. Any like minded collectors?

I learned from a German web page that these sunglasses were introduced in about 2002 as part of a GTA collection and sold exclusively on the now defunct web site alfaboutique.com. A snapshot of this web site from 2003 (and very limited information about the glasses) can be found here.
