Centerline sells new Milano Verde Recaro seat diaphragms for $65.

 

Well, I thought this was a home run....unfortunately, their supplier dried up so I am still on the hunt for one of these.

Yeah, its getting hard to find these. FYI the VW recaro scene uses PVC coated steel laundry wire (the line that goes outside on which you hang clothes) in place of the diaphragm. Just string it across the bottom of the seat, use a piece of cardboard or very thin plastic to form a shelf under the seat cushion. Thread it through the holes that are normally used to attach/support the diaphragm. This is how I repaired my driver seat late last summer. No problems as of yet. It provides the same level of support and deflection under weight.

No 'real' business dealings with them other than getting a quote for restoration on a set of Verde Recaros that I had thought about using for my GTV6. That didn't transpire, no fault of Rich's. I decided to move in another direction.
