I've seen ice tracks on frozen lakes, but like the idea of creating one in a field. How did you build it?

 

Not my track. It´s run by Icerange Harviala (icerange.fi). It makes sense to have one in the field. No danger of a car turning to submarine. AFAIK, he wets the track with a watering system from the back of his tractor, when the temperature is below freezing. Once the track has been made, it´s pretty resistant to melting, even if there will be periods of warmer temperatures.

Thank you. Decade old studded winter tires. On ice the studs are pretty important and the studs on these tires are pretty shot...
