Hi all,

I am browsing AlfaBB for at least 3-4 years now (mostly when in trouble 😂), and i finally decided to join.
The current project is a 1973 2000 GTV as described in the title. The car ended up in my hands after my dad decided to park it for some years due to some mechanical issues he didn't bother fixing at the time. Thankfully it was parked in a garage, so the condition of the body overall is good but of course at some point the body work must be done. On the other hand, due to the years sitting, the mechanical condition was bad except from the engine itself. I had to revisit/fix all of the peripherals from carbs/ignition to clutch/brakes and everything else you can imagine 🙃. Most of the "job" was done by myself. I'm not a pro mechanic but a hobbyist.
Currently the car is at the stage where it needs minor interior fixes and finally to polish the beast.

Hi Stelios,

I was passed a link to this thread by someone on the AO forum in the hope you may be able to help me as you appear to have a 4 post lift! I am restoring a RHD 1973 2000GTV and I'm currently installing all new brake & clutch hydraulic pipes, but all the pipework I removed had been quite crudely done (not as it left the factory). Is there any chance you could take some photos of the underside of your car so I can see the correct routing of the pipe runs, especially under the floor pan where the master cylinders are mounted?
