Hello! I just purchased a 1990 Spider Graduate for fun/restoration/frustration purposes. This is the first Alfa I've owned and my first vehicle restoration project. My local Alfa Mechanic here in Richmond, VA took a look at it and highly recommended that I replace the fuel injector hoses, which he said were cracked, worrying about it being a fire hazard and casually noting that Alfas can catch fire due to this. Nice!
To try and save the $976 ($70 in parts and $906 in labor) I will tackle this myself uttering the famous last words "how hard can it be"?
I've attached photos of the car and of the fuel injection hoses on the rear passenger side.
I was wondering if there are any fuel injector hose kids available out there, I couldn't find this on classic alfa or centerline. Though I did find a fuel pump hose and general fuel hoses on classic alfa.
Also wondering if anyone has a step-by-step on how to do this or just some pointers.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Steve
