And I bet the same applies to all of us when we see one that we can identify with, on the hook.

Oh yeah.. This honey sat outside for 20 years! No rust! Thanks in part for being in Stockton California... One of the hottest and driest climate!

Little old lady owned it and couldn't drive it anymore due to health conditions.

Right after taking delivery of my '86 GTV6, and getting it back from the shop after refurbishment... drove 100mi perfectly, then wouldn't start the next day. Yay for old fuel systems.

We didn't get a photo on the truck but this one was taken an hour before the head gasket let go and it got a helping hand home.

Here are a couple....

One of a Alfa 159 Polizia car in Italy, on a flat top, we were just on a tour bus driving past so don't know the story.

The other is of my 1750 Berlina when it was loaded in Sydney to be delivered down to me in Melbourne.

Didn't need a tow for our GTV6 - I bought it in Texas and drove it home to North Carolina. The only issue was a loose intake air duct.

Our Spider was purchased as a project. I trailered it home from Massachusetts.

My MGA got a could of tows. Once when I ran out of gas just after the checkered flag. And another time when the crankshaft decided it didn't want to play anymore.

My dearly departed, in 2013 as it started it's journey from one side of Australia to the other, to its new owner. Have regretted selling it ever since!

Hi all!

I started a similar thread in the GTV6 area but it would be great to see and hear from all Alfisti.

It happens to all of us. Getting towed. We all have tales and usually pictures of our good times and not so good times when we are on the hook.

I think the shared communal suffering could provide some much needed healing in these tough times. I mean winter of course, when there is little driving to be done!

Please share your pictures and stories about being “on the hook”.

I’ll start with my most recent experience. This one a good one. A new to me 1984 GTV6 on its way home.
