JJ,
I was just about to give you a buzz on some parts that fell into my lap. I will give you a call later.
Would any 164 parts work?
WTB; Need 1990-1993 12v 164 Front Engine Cover Please

Yes, I specifically need some 12v 164 B / L / S front engine covers please!

Email me via [email protected] or buzz me at 425.941.4747 please -

Thanks, JvR
I got too many engine parts:) Probably a front cover, pickup tube, etc. Did you get all the liners and "S" piston?
Good thing we didn't hold our breath JJ ;)
How about a block?
I got the blown engine out of the red car, one I picked up in Canada with a bad head gasket, and the one in the silver daily driver that will soon turn into a parts car:) So, how many pick up tubes are we talking here:)
E-mail sent. Think I can help on many of these.

Thanks Peter!

I did thanks! Would you please email me via [email protected] about any of the other pieces that you might have for me? Thanks! Or, buzz me at 425.941.4747. I don't need any 12 valve blocks or heads thanks - just the parts listed above!

Elite 38868 - forgot about this thread way back when because the parts were then being addressed in another thread of mine! :eek: Sorry - hope I didn't hurt your feelings!

For now I mostly need Milano 2.5 or 3.0 12 valve and / or GTV6 12v oil-pump pick-ups – just the heads of the pickup that sits in the sump (with the screen on it). They unbolt from the bottom of the pump with three bolts.

And then I need the 12 valve 164-specific front engine covers (that sits around the crank – behind the crank-pulley!

Thanks!

Jungle,

I did send you an e-mail on the parts I can easily snag. These fall into the 'easy' category:

Intake plenum - 2.5 or 3.0
Tail-housing - 2.5 or 3.0
T-Stat housing - 2.5 or 3.0

As stated in my e-mail, I may be able to check with my ALFA mechanic here, on the front engine covers (he may have a couple of 164 parts cars, as I remember). I know, I'll still need to save one of those for myself.

I'll send that e-mail again.

Cheers,
peter

Just thought that I would refresh here - there are a few specific things that I am after right now as follows;

1) From the EARLY 12 valve 164 B / L / S – from the EARLY deep-sump models only - it has the two bolts hidden behind the crank-pulley;

- Front front engine covers - the covers that hold the front engine seal (where the crank pokes through the block – right behind the crank pulley…) 2-3-4 of those please, if you have some. Any number of covers please.

2) From ANY of the 164 B / L / S models;

- 1 Set of engine cam rockers.
- 2 known-good ower steering pumps (or re-buildable cores - please define)

3) From any 12 valve GTV6 or Milano models;

- Thermostat housings – SPECIFICALLY the types that have the neck of the T-stat pointing towards the right-front corner (US-models passanger-side) of the car…
- Oil-pump pick-up (just the head with the screen on it) - 2.5 or 3.0
- Flywheel - 3.0 Verde/Americano (or from an SZ Zagato) specifically!
- SHOULDERED 2.5 Milano flywheel (with the raised boss on the rear!)

4) From any Alfetta (sedan or Coupe);

- 2 Complete pedal-boxes with hanging pedals and brake boosters (or with boosters from late-80s Spiders.)

Are you looking for the thermostat or the lower part that bolts to the water pump?

The lower part that bolts to the water pump...
The lower part that bolts to the water pump...
If you want the one with oval outlet facing right side of car (passenger side on LHD) that is the Milano one.

GTV6 oval port faces L/H side of car (LHD models).

I have three of those GTV6 ones but none of milano ones left.
The lower part that bolts to the water pump...
I have a bunch of NOS ones. Heres a picture of one of them. I'll take pictures of the rest tomorrow and post.
