The modification for this kit was easily done. It involves pressing the pivot ball up the shaft about 1/2 inch, or extending shaft below the pivot the same amount, and replacing the shift rod bushing. This is an alloy that should be heat treated after cutting & welding if done that way. Otherwise softened it might flex & break. If you can`t get it done where you are, I will do it for you.
