WTB: giulia ti super

T. I. Super needed

Tom Zat at Alfa Heaven (715/449-2141) has had the following car advertized for a while: "1965 Giulia TI Super +595469 white/black, Autodelta Factory Team car,winner Sebring 1965, body restored."

I've no connection with the vender above.

Are you looking for a race-prepped track car, or a driver/show car? The second is more difficult to find IMO- most T.I. Supers have had their interiors gutted and tossed away, and replaced with a single race seat and roll cage.

There's a very nice car in France with a full interior, but it seems to be with a long term owner. Ditto with a car in Japan.

Whatever happened to Don Bruno's Ti Super? I met him in 1991 when I went up to Chicago to look a Super he had for sale. At that time, he still had the Ti Super. I had a full interior.

Alfaro, that's a real TI Super, no a TI or a Super?

Tom, Tom Zat's car was available as of several months ago, at that time with an asking price of $50,000. It was a pretty full-on race car with radically changed rear fenders, if that affects your thinking. Picture here:

That is not a Ti Super, it's only a Ti.

I agree the price does not seem outrageous. Though you'd have to see the car in the flesh. I was considering it, but went in a different direction.
