WTB: Exhaust manifolds for Milano Verde

923 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  alfalfa339
I'm looking to replace the shankle headers on my Milano with stock 3.0 manifolds. I'd love to replace them with either IAP's or CSC's headers, but I just can't afford it! If anyone has something suitable for sale, please let me know. If anyone is interested in the Shankle's, please let me know.

I have a set of 2.5's available. Are they the same?
Headers

Hi, I have a set of stock headers in good condition. Where are you located? Bob 321-214-4190
I'm in Northern Virginia. I gave you a call today, Bob, but you were out. I'll try again this evening.

In the meantime, maybe I can get some opinions on the best way to deal w/my situation. My Shankles are leaking at the flanges and the down pipes are crushed a little from hitting the ground (standard problem w/the Shankles I understand). I'm looking for a solid fix that is not too expensive. My problem is that I'm not even sure I have a catalytic converter at the moment (the car passed emissions in VA, but just barely . . . don't know if that's possible w/out a cat). Thus, if I go w/new stock manifolds, I have to find a down-pipe (which I haven't been able to do yet), probably a new cat (considering after-market models like the Magnaflow, which are much cheaper), and then I'm not sure what else behind the cat.

One possible option I'm considering is a gasket from REMFLEX Exhaust Gaskets: Home Page. The sell a very flexible gasket that can fill gaps up to 1/16". But to get one of their gaskets, I have to send them a template, which means pulling apart the exhaust.

Anyone have any advice on the best way to get things sorted out?

Alfa parts

Hi, I use a gasket that I got in my gasket set for Alfetta sport sedan and it works fine with a little persuasion. International Auto Parts should have them or just keep looking on internet. There are people who have these cars to part out. Bob
