WTB......A scrape peice of 2" air duct

After checking the cost ($43,00) and min order (10 feet) for some 2" air duct I wanted to see if any one has some short peices of it they want to sell. I need 3 feet of it.

This is what I was looking for but I'm open to suggestions.

Hi Murray,

I suggest you visit your friendly auto parts store, and ask them to let you rummage around their air hose supply. There are many different style hoses used for air inlet ducting, and the price is usually $5 - $10. I was able to find a rectangular hose to run from the front of my SPICA air box to a K & N air filter mounted in front of the radiator, and was able to form the shape into a round profile to match the airbox inlet. The only issue is that such hoses will not be the same quality as the source you mentioned. As with most things; you get what you pay for...

Also, try Pegasus Racing supply. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/
or Speedway Motors in Lincoln http://www.speedwaymotors.com/

You could also try JC Whitney. I bought some from them and it was good quality.

Good ideas, thanks I have an Autozone and a Napa close to my house that they know me pretty well, so I'll try them first. The hose by no means needs to be rated at 360 F so a/c vent hose should work fine.
