with that one you can not retain the air bag.....I assume that's whaty you want to do?

I would encourage you to do a search on the wheel subject, since there are several threads that have covered alternatives and issues to consider... Pretty much, if you install a wood steering wheel you will give-up the airbag. There is one wheel that has been shown in the 164 forum (the Spider and steering wheels with airbags are the same) which I believe is from a later model year Alfa, which looks just like your stock wheel, with the airbag, but has wood around the wheel. It was very expensive however ($700 or more I think), but it is available in Europe.

does the 1991 spider have an airbag?
i am looking at a couple of the later spiders and then saw a thread where someone put a beautiful Nardi steering wheel on their earlier spider and i wondered if its possible to put this on the later(1991) spiders?
i dont really mind giving up the air bag and just want to know if the Nardi hub still fits if you remove the airbag st wheel on the 1991 cars?
thanks for putting up with my ?'s i have searched a little but this was the first thread i cam across and it just mentioned that someone "would" have to give up the air bag so i thought i would ask to make it clear for myself
