Have you checked to see if you have the flat circular bushes on either side of the trunnion arms, without them side to side movement happens, originals tend to dry, crack and disappear. Go with poly.
The washers are one thing to check. You also need to inspect the conical bushings where the T-bar attaches to the differential, and check the trailing arm bushings for excessive play.
If you can feel it when you're driving I'd guess is you're going to find a lot of the rubber bits back there are worn out.
