Has anyone tried the new style (aftermarket) tracked window motor/regulator set in their GTV-6? They've been used successfully in Spiders, according to the posts I've seen, but I'm curious if any GTV-6's have been converted.

These units are expensive, around $250, but they seem to put the problem of lazy, sticky windows to rest once and for all.

Sounds like you may be the first. If you do it, let us all know how it goes and you'll be nominated for BB sainthood if you solve our many GTV6 window woes.

Well crackie, I'm not sure if I'd deserve sainthood (ask my Alfisti buddies). Fact is the pass side window on son Mike's car is dying, and fiddling with the tracks, cables and electrics has not yielded anything like real improvement. It pains me to roll out $250 for this one item, but it just might be the solution if it will fit.

Meanwhile, we got other fish to fry... like chassis bushings and a paint job.
