Hello -

At the recent Best of France & Italy I saw a Spider with a nice wind deflector attached to the folding top pivot hinges. It looked like it would do the job for topdown freeway cruising, and stay out of the way when the top was up, too. The owner said it was already on the car when he got it and didn't know the mfr, or where to get one.

Anyone else see it, and know where it to get it?

Does it work as well as it looks, top down and top up?

And yes, I've read the other wind deflector threads on the board already.

Thank you,

Probably from Classic Alfa: I've got one on my S2 and it works a treat - very little buffeting and it doesn't obstruct your view in the mirror much, clears the top when lowering or raising and pivots down over the rear space if you want to stop people nicking stuff out of the back in traffic, will also fold away behind seats if you push it down before dropping the top - looks better for shows - quite a lot of money for a bit of bent tube and mesh but its well worth it. Friend has one fitted to his S4 with a tonneau, the tonneau only requires a bit of modification to make it fit apparently
