I have a 1981 body with crappy plastic mirrors. They need adjusting each time I close the door. I prefer the look of the chrome mirrors anyway, do they simply bolt on or is there body work involved??

Thanks,
Robert

Mirrors

depends which mirrors you choose as replacements. Sometimes the base on the originals is larger and harder to cover or has holes differently spaced.
You should choose your poison before you sell the others. May just be an adjustment to tighten them.

in my "for sale" ad, I have a pair of power mirrors that came with the car in a box of parts. (really, spare gauge covers anyone??) so I'm not going to sell off these until I find replacements.

Oh, these mirrors can NOT be tightened. Silly.
