I owned this car in the 80s when I was young and stupid. This is exactly as I bought it so I wasn't that stupid. I always thought it had disappeared overseas as I was looking for the wrong rego number (I got pulled over for displaying incorrect plates so had to get new ones issued). It turns out it's still alive in NZ with rego on hold.

Do you know the chassis number? I have a bunch of folders of RHD stepfront coupes with their number listed. I can see if it is one of them

I only have the photos but the car is still live in the NZ system and it has the chassis number as AK298523 . I'm assuming the AK should probably be AR?

From memory the first owner was the Italian Embassy

Yes it is AR. Sorry haven't seen that one listed with a number in the last few years. Perhaps the AROCNZ has it listed. I know my local chapter keeps a record of chassis numbers.

AR298525 is the closest I have in number and is owned by a friend in Sydney.

thanks for looking. I have hope as somebody is actively keeping the registration live. It seems it was last on the road in 2003
