Omega Motorosports in Culver City or APC in Orange will both do a good job.

Talk to Santo Rimicci in Northridge. I've been dealing with him and son Anthony and have nothing but good things to say about them as people and professionals. They will most likely be at the Best of France/Italy on Nov 2 at Woodley Park.

That's a great question. I don't know maybe 4k?
Also wondering best way to add a little horsepower without sacrificing dependability?

Gracias!

What do you mean by "rebuild"?

Do you want to drive the car into a shop and then drive it out a month later with a rebuilt engine?

Do you want to pull the engine yourself, disassemble it yourself, find a shop to do the machining, and then do the re-assembly & re-installation yourself?

If #2, I have some ideas. If #1, the previous recommendations are good.

Knowing which way you want to go will greatly influence the budget.

If you are in the Marina Del Rey/Venice Beach area there is a shop on Washington just West of Lincoln (North side of Washington) - I never stopped in there (I was a business traveler) but, regularly, there were plenty of ALFAs in the shop driveway. good luck HEH
