There was a time back about 15 - 20 years ago when 3 spokes on a wheels were popular
with the the fast street crowd. They showed off the colors and bling on the brakes.
I haven't seen any for a long time. They disappeared.
I always thought the DOT took them off the market due to structural weakness.
