Has anyone changed to 205\60\15 wheels and found they were a mistake, size-wise, on a Spider?

How do you get pictures to show?

Has anyone used ultra expensive Mov-it brakes on their Spider?

They are very impressive appearing and run $3250 front and back. I can send a picture to anyone interested.

Why better brakes? Because I may have a V6 in my future.

I realize there are many out there who will decry such meddling,
but I've meddled with my Spiders since I put webers on after a fuel injection failure in 1975, and haven't looked back since.

Thanks,
Wes

Go ahead and put the V6 in there! But there ARE cheaper ways to upgrade your brakes.

Go have a look at what Mike Valant did with his Giulia Super at http://engr.smu.edu/rcam/cpm3v/brakes/brakes.htm.

As far as tires and wheels, there are folks running around on 16 and even 17 inch rims on a Spider, but be aware that it will really change the way your car behaves. Given the 'flexi-flyer' chassis of the Alfa Spider (especially before 1982), I would definitely re-do all the bushings, add an Eriminas chassis stiffener (available from IAP and several other places), and make sure that my front end parts, bearings and steering box were all in good order.

Good luck!
