I trying to figure out what this is, if indeed it an Alfa part. It came with a bunch of 164 parts I bought from senior who sold his 164. His "mechanic" made several mistakes in parts. This may have been one. Anyone recognize it? Unique left hand threads...

It appears that the course thread at the bottom is left hand. And what is that boss in the middle? Does it have a hex on it? Strange. It's not familiar to me as a part used on the 105/115 cars.

Quick glance tells me it's the bolt for the steering column height adjustment. Lever goes on coarse, LH thread side so as you pull release lever toward you, it loosens assembly

Thanks guys. I also posted on the 164 page. The consensus seems to be the steering column bolt:) I've never had one of those out.
