What is this bracket?
It's on the passenger's side inner fender apron. There is a bolt on the bottom that is attached to nothing. The same bracket is on the driver's side with the addition of a triangular plate towards the rear attaching to that bolt on the left.

In addition to being a steering stop the bracket does add some structrural integrity to the chassis since the the steering box and idler box attach there and get hard loads applied when turning, that's my story and i'm sticking to it
