I found this part in my bins of parts I recovered from a guy who wanted out of ALL his parts... and a Alfetta gt. It has Shankle printed on it but I don't know where or what it replaces.. will install it if it fits my Alfetta

I found this part in my bins of parts I recovered from a guy who wanted out of ALL his parts... and a Alfetta gt. It has Shankle printed on it but I don't know where or what it replaces.. will install it if it fits my Alfetta

It is the blanking plate for the Spica fuel injection pump mounted on the right side of the engine. When you convert the car to carbs the Spica pump is no longer needed but it is fed oil from the engine so the mounting location has to be blanked off.
