Does anyone have a diagrahm/picture of the fuse panel for a 1978 Spider?
My fuse panel for my 1978 Spider has one fuse missing. I think it's the six one.
I have the dual webbers, and it runs great.. My radio doesn't work and I was thinking it could be a fuse.

I see 8A 16A and a 25A fuse... What fuses to use for the proper location. Anyone have the order for each one and what each one does?

Anyone please let me know. as I wouldn't want to put in a wrong fuse and fry something. LOL :)

I'm crossing my fingers and hope someone has a pic and order of what fuses go where.
Also.. Anyone have a 1978 Alfa Spider owners manual they don't need? :)

If nothing comes up, you could start with an 8A and if that blows move to the 16A, if it blows, go to the 20A.

If that pops, then you've got other issues :)

20A is usually reserved strictly for the heavier load stuff, so it's probably that if your headlights, (high and low beam), heater blower motor and wipers all work, then the fuse you need is of the lesser caliber.

Okay to the far right I have a Blue 25A fuse.. So that must the the low/high beam.

So all the rest should be 8 - 16A max.

Okay good to know... So don't go over 20A

Mainly stick to 8 to 16A througout. :)

On a 78 Spider ALL fuses are originally 8 Amps.

If you count from left to right:
#1 - Courtesy lights
#2 - Brake lights, wipers
#3 - Idiot lights, Defrost fan, glovebox light
#4 - Spare
#5 - Trunk light, parking lights, instrument lights
#6 - Fuel cutoff solenoid, reverse lights, power to gauges, etc...
#7 - Left headlight High Beam
#8 - Right headlight High Beam
#9 - Left headlight Low Beam
#10 - Right headlight Low Beam

Independent twin fuse pod; #11 - Fuel pumps; #12 SPARE

The headlights are all fused individually. Each are 8 amps, iirc.

GTD is spot on with the fuses. All are 8 Amp. And none are (originally) for the radio.

I'll guess that the radio has an in-line fuse somewhere.

Holy!!! So that 25A Fuse I should try replacing with am 8A

Heck I should replace all with 8A... and see how she goes.
I have some 16A in their.. Maybe they replaced them not knowing which is correct.

So all the Fuses for a 78 Spider should be replaced with 8A.

Thanks for the info.. I'll try it out. :)

As far as the rasio goes. It never worked when I bought the car. So it could be something else.
