Hi,
Was changing the oil in the 69 spider, and noticed on the
dip stick tube, just above the clamp that it tees off into a hose (tube) barb.
It had a cover on it like you would use for a vacum connection you weren't using.

Is this original to the 1750??? Should i just leave it plugged or is there a line that should be hooked to it and where does it go??

I'm confused

Rogerspeed is right. That fitting is for the oil return hose from the vapor separator (item #8 in the pic).

Thanks...

Thanks for the quick responce..

I guess this answers another question I was going to ask.

Where does hose #1 go :)
So now I know the oil seperator is missing, I'm finding
all these little and not so little things that were left off when it was rebuilt by
PO's.

Thanks once again.

George
