What am I hearing?
The car is a GTV-6 (with a recent engine transplant from a Milano and a bit tweeked.)
Sounds like a clicking or ticking noise.
The noise is associated with road speed, i.e. long intervals between at low speed and shorter intervals as speed increases.
Application of the brake does not dampen the noise.
The noise does not vary with engine revs or with which gear the car is in.
The noise continues unchanged when coasting and the engine is on.
The noise disappears entirely when coasting with the engine is switched off.
Can anyone help me with a diagnosis?
