Hi Group:

I'm interested in a set of Wet Okole neoprene seat covers for my '92 Spider Veloce. Anyone have a set and know the application, if not originally for the Spider? I ask because Wet Okole doesn't list Spider seats, but some of the third-party vendors that resell the covers do, and, I've seen them on Spider Veloce seats an they look good. I've sent an email to Wet Okole, but I'm looking for some first-hand info if anyone had purchased a set. FWIW, I'm not covering damaged seats, I'm covering a perfect set of seats that I'd like to protect. TIA.

As it turns out, the person answering email for Wet Okole doesn't seem to have a clue, and Alfa seat covers aren't listed on Wet Okole's site, either.

But, I happened to just see a Spider for sale on eBay that has a set of seat covers, and the current owner was kind enough to share the part number with me, which is 9319. This pattern should fit all the Veloce (and Quad) style seats, and a phone call to Wet Okole confirmed that they'd make me a set for $235. They do also have a pattern to make covers for the Graduate style seats, although since even my '74 has the later style Veloce seats, I didn't ask about the price. If you're interested in a set, call (949) 548-1543. They'll even send out some free fabric swatches so you can match your interior color.

I know these seat covers aren't for everyone, but if you've got seats nice enough to want to protect, as I happen to, these neoprene covers are great. They're also nice and grippy for hard cornering. A friend has a 6-year old set in his Toyota 4Runner, and they still look like new.

I'm not, either. But, I've got a brand new set of seats, with the suede inserts, I'm here in South Florida, I'm often hot and sweaty driving the Spider, I take it to the beach often . . .

The Wet Okole covers offer no pretense of looking original, but they do fit very well, are made very well, last a long time, they're comfortable . . .

I'll be sure to post some photos when they're here, which won't likely be for a few more weeks. I'm waiting for the fabric color swatches to arrive, and these covers will be made to order
