Does anybody know the weight of the 1750 engine and any recommendations of an engine cradle ? While my 69 GTV is undergoing restoration , I rather have my engine on a cradle rather than on the garage floor.

I have a 2 litre and, with trans off, one strong guy can pick it up off a truck bed or high bench. My 750lb engine stand held it for over a year with just the three engine mount bolts on one side. I made a custom bracket to attach to said bolts and stand. the diagram i found here somewhere.

Engine complete is 250ish lbs, give or take.
