Hi every one . i am new to this forum.
looking for advice i have a 00548 63348 engine i like to use in 10536 gt veloce. is it possible to use the weber 40dcoe 4 (from a 1600cc gt ) on a 1750ccm 548 engine series 2

i have also a solex carb for the engine belive original , but think the look weber looks more rigth for my car. the perfect engine i am looking for is the 00536 nr 0770-11033 but ist hard to find:sneaky:

536 04800 is unrevised, needs welding along one liner seat (missing a piece of aluminiium), it will need a lot of work but its doable, the studs have a litlle corrosion buit not mayor, dont know about the rest

536 15715 is revised and with the crank in it along with new crank shells.

is the 00536 4800 a complete engine or only block . perhaps you can send me email: [email protected] i like to buy if we can agree on price

40DCOE4's have identical body progression holes ad 40DCOE2's and with correct 1750 jetting and chokes copied from the 1750 DCOE2 set up will perform identically.

I don't see why not. I put a 1750 in my Super, used the 1600's original 40DCOE24 carbs, just changed throats, jets, etc and it's been fine for 65K miles.
