Is $250 the going rate for a day at the track?
This is the first time we have put on a track event, and are looking for more sign up's. There will be some very interesting cars at the track, and the FOC members are good company. Is $250 the going rate for a day at the track?
Well, if you showed up at AROC's Waterford track day this past Sunday, it would have cost $100 as a club member...Is $250 the going rate for a day at the track?
I suppose you didn't pay for the insurance? I'll let you read into that however you wish.Well, if you showed up at AROC's Waterford track day this past Sunday, it would have cost $100 as a club member...
FYI, it costs $1750 to rent Waterford Hills for one day. I'll let you read what you want into that.

Yes, we did pay insurance. AROC provides base coverage, and we have to pay a $200 rider. Add $400 for the required ambulance, and you get around $2400 to have fun on the track.I suppose you didn't pay for the insurance? I'll let you read into that however you wish.
Who is AROC's insurer? I'm looking to do some other events, including "friendly legal 200 mph runs" on an airstrip.. and that would def. help lower the costs. The last quote for a silly thing like going 200 down an empty airfield was around $4,000Yes, we did pay insurance. AROC provides base coverage, and we have to pay a $200 rider. We also added another $400 to pay for corner workers, and another $100 for water, so our grand total was just under $3000.
All I'm doing is pointing out how much it costs to put on the event at WHRRI, which is one of the cheapest tracks around, and one of my favorites, too. Someone asked if it was the going rate, and I don't think it is.

Naughton Insurance. The entire club (AROC-USA) pays something around $23k a year to insure the entire club, and the policy lets us have a rider to pay for competition events.Who is AROC's insurer?
