done this many times on my 2014 ruby red ford fusion... hard water here in sacramento.. fighting water spots.. so i tryed this.. washed the car at sunset...always done it this way.. with soap and water.. rinsed car off,, then rinsed out the wash bucket really well,, then put 1 cup of vinager, and 2 gallons of water.. re washed the car, with this// then dryed car off.. checked back after and hour or so..no water spots
