Ambitious ask yes, but it's hard to pin down values these days. It seems like each example of a giulia is significantly different enough from the last to make it tough to compare. I could see high ask and willingness to negotiate as a strategy to ensure you don't under price. I have been thinking about putting my 75 1300 on the market and that's one thing that has run through my mind.

A patina'd driver on Portland OR Craigslist. Engine looks lovely, dash and steering wheel look scary. $18,500 asking price seems a bit ambitious.
The yin and the yang of it, West Coast edition. Not a lot out there for much less, and kinda pricey for no bumpers.

There are two 1300s on ebay for around $20K. The one in Sherman Oaks looks like a fair deal to me.
Plus Todd has his nice beige cava 69 Berlina here on the BB now for what seems like a fair price.
