Seems my repaired VVT never had the solenoid reconnected. Is the orientation of the connection critical? If it is, how do you determine the + and - sides? Thanks.
You might want to take the precaution of replacing the VVT fuseholder with something more modern, and weather-sealed. Also the fuse holder under the rear deck for the fuel pump. On my '87 Spider, both were corroded almost to dust when I took possession of the car several years ago.No joy, but cleaned the fuse and...click!
