VIN vs. Chassis Number

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I am disposing of a salvaged Milano 3.0 that I used for parts. I have disassembled the car, and can no longer find the (loose) VIN plate which was located between the dashboard and the firewall. I am planning to bring the remains of the car to a scrap yard, and I need to be able to document ownership. I have a salvage title, with
VIN = ZARDA1243H1050178
and the number stamped on the floor of the trunk is
ZAR162B60 00050178.
To me it seems reasonable that these numbers would refer to the same car. But, is there any way to prove this? And, am I likely to run into difficulty at the scrapyard?

Even if I were to find the VIN plate, it would not be physically attached to any part of the car, so I am not sure how persuasive it would be.

Anyone have advice/opinions/comments?
Thanks,
Dave

Phew! I found the VIN plate. Hopefully that will suffice even though it is not attached to anything.
