Shows the aerodynamics of the 164 shape are good, doesn't it? :)
I read somewhere that the rear track had to be awkwardly narrow to fit the massive tyres within the standard body outline. Ironic considering the wide-track stance of a standard 164.

Isn't it just typical that no other manufacturers joined in...

There are a couple of relevant videos on YouTube as well.

I like the Dutch accent in

everytime i click on that **** you.tube i end up watching like 10 different videos..gave myself a headache....
I know what you mean - for some reason, I always end up watching crash test videos of unknown Chinese cars like the Brilliance BS-6. Or Russian cars. The Lada 2116 (a modern shape with airbags) is so much better than the 2107.

Anyway the key is to specialise - bookmark worthy videos and go back to them, watch them several times. I have watched all 'my' 164 videos at least three times each. I don't let myself get sidetracked too often ;)
