I have a friend(widow), that has 15-20 engines blocks, some complete some bare.
Many cranks, heads, transmissions, gauges, stainless bumpers, wheels, differentials, etc.
Many cams, pistons, rods, sleeves, etc. probably all stock.

These parts are from 60s to late 70s alfas, Berlina, Alfetta, spider and who knows what else.

Since it is all used, what would be the best way to sell?
How to put a value on used, since they are from unknown vehicles and condition?
Sell as a package deal, everything, or part by part?

Parts are located on Vancouver Island.
Pictures to follow...

Lots of pictures, located here: http://sidneybc.ca/automobiles/alfa/images.php

I think I counted 22 engine blocks
3 105 transmissions
1 alfetta transmission

Half of the engines have SPICA injection pumps on them.

Pictures of each piece with what is known would be a good place to start.

Contact dbest (Don Best) here on Alfabb. Longtime alfisti in BC. He can offer help. If you are on the Island, ferry fares may be prohibitive. All Italian show on Fathers Day at Waterfront Park in N.Vancouver. They don't allow Parts sales but may be a good time to advertise locally. Seattle Craigslist an option. I would try to sell as a whole, one and done.
Cheers, Jon

Perhaps you could try to get in touch with Prince Harry. I heard he is loitering on the Island now. Harry could start his Ebay career off right.:)
Or you could place ads in Kijiji, facebook market place and craigslist.

You may want to call Larry at Alfa Parts Exchange. He may be willing to buy the whole lot.

Speaking with the owner, I believe it was Don Best who has already been through the garage, took what was good, and labeled a lot of the parts.
Now, just trying to help get rid of stuff, hopefully useful to someone.

How much for the mesh inner headlight covers?

Incidentally, I'm also in need of a grommet for the opening under the cowl cover (in front of the wiper assembly) of my 2000 GTV; unlikely that would be detached from a car body like the other parts, but who knows?

Wow- that's a bunch of parts! Thanks for posting.

You mentioned SPICA boxes? I'm looking for a early 70's spider SPICA air box that needs restoration but isn't rusty. I have a 77 US spider with SPICA, but would like to replace the air box for an earlier one without the weird warm-air intake snorkel like mine has. I have removed the air pump, air rail, US exhaust manifold, etc.

Also- any good sets of 4 steel wheels that would work on my 77? I always like to looks of those steel wheels on Alfas.
